Ocean Wave Quilters Guild in Sitka, Alaska brings together a community of quilters dedicated to sharing techniques and creating charity quilts. Based in Sitka, Alaska, our guild welcomes visitors to join our meetings and collaborate with fellow quilting enthusiasts. We provide a supportive environment for quilters of all skill levels to learn, create, and give back to our community. Contact us to learn how to become part of our quilting family. Ocean Wave Quilters is a quilt guild located in Sitka, Alaska. OWQ meets once a month on the first Tuesday of each month, 6:30 pm until about 8:30 pm, September through June, at the United Methodist Church, 303 Kimsham St., Sitka, AK. All interested persons are welcome to attend. Full membership fee is $25.00. Membership fee includes priority for quilting classes and other special Guild activities such as our fabulous autumn retreat!! Saturday following the meeting is “Saturday Sewing”from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm, also at the Methodist Church. It’s open sewing, come and go as you please. All folks interested in stitching in the company of others are welcome to attend. Extension cords, irons and ironing boards are supplied. At noon there is a potluck lunch. Please bring food to share.
