Paternayan
Paternayan Persian yarn is now produced as Colonial Persian Yarn by the Colonial Needle Company of White Plains, New York, whose owners, the Collingham family, acquired the Paternayan trademark in 2020. The yarn is a 3-ply, 100% long-staple virgin wool with separable strands, sold on 8-yard cards and quarter-pound hanks for needlepoint and crewel work.
